GOOS, P. Het Canaal tussen Engeland en Vrancriick. Amsterdam, 1666. Col. Good copy. 430 x 546 mm. Sea map showing the English Channel after the one of Johannes van Loon. Adorned with a beautiful title cartouche, coat of arms, a ship and a compass rose. Pieter Goos (ca. 1616-1675) was one of the most important cartographers, engravers, publishers and print dealers in Amsterdam. His widow continued his activity after her husband's death.
