FER, N. de. General Government of the Duchy of Brittany. Paris, 1711 and ca. 1721. Col. Copy of Fer heavily browned, creased, laminated, sea monsters and a ship added with a stamp. Danet copy slightly yellowed but in good condition. 450 x 605 mm. Two copies: one in first state dated 1711, the other in third state with Danet's address ca.1721. Large cartouche at the top left signed Nicolas Guérard. The separation between Upper and Lower Brittany is now rectified compared to the 1705 map, but some discrepancies remain. - C.
