PEDAGOGICAL GAME / PERROT. (Educational maps of the 5 Breton departments). Paris, Bourrut-Lemeri, [1819] and [1836]. Period col. Titles soiled, the cardboard educational maps in old colors are in good condition. 130 x 805 mm. Intaglio engraved and watercoloured cardboard plates showing Morbihan (5 copies), Ile-et-Vilaine (4), Loire Inférieure (4), Finistère (5 copies) and Côtes-du-Nord (5 copies) published in "Analyse géographique des Départements de la France" Paris, 1819 and 1836. Copies of the first and second edition with titles and explanations. This suite in 86 maps shows the departments. Each department is represented by a geographical map taken from Perrot's atlas surrounded by attributes representative of the region and the names of its famous children. The bottom of the maps is occupied by a text of presentation of the department engraved in characters of civility. The first edition of this game was published in Paris by Bourrut-Le Merie around 1819, a second edition was entirely re-engraved in 1830 by the same publisher.
