MORRISON "Exotic vegetation". Circular-view panel in polychrome-stained maple and plane-tree marquetry on a pear-tree background. Mounted in a later tray with a slab of shaped glass. 56 x 48 cm History: this decorative panel was made in the late 1920s for the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits. A similar example was sold by Christie's Paris, on September 27, 2011, in the sale "L'âge d'or du Rail souvenirs de la Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits", under lot 213.
