Drop-leaf secretary in diamond marquetry with violet, amaranth and filleted wood surrounds, opening to two leaves containing two drawers and a removable strongbox, a drawer and a flap revealing eight drawers and three compartments, the Sainte Anne gray marble top resting on canted mounts with simulated fluting and triglyph capitals.
Stamped by Nicolas Petit and JME, cabinetmakers in 1761.
