Officer's pistol set. In varnished walnut, with fillets and brass inlays, closing with two hooks. Wrapped in green suede, it contains : A pair of percussion pistols. The barrels are signed "Fni par GEERINCKX". SUCur de GAUVAIN A PARIS". Flat-bodied locks and round-bodied hammers engraved with scrolls. Finger rests and engraved caps. Carved walnut stocks. A.B.E. Minor pitting, later case. Presented with accessories: chopsticks, lead ladle, primer dispenser, screwdriver, bullet mold. A.B.E. circa 1840.
