Dumonthier two-shot percussion pistol dagger, approx. 11 mm caliber. Blade with central gutter, stamped "DUMONTHIER BREVET", with barrel on either side. Crosspiece with two double quillons, two of which are hammers. Horn stock plates with three rivet screws. Chagrin-covered wooden scabbard with two white metal fittings (bolt to be refastened). A.B.E. (pitting on the cruise). Circa 1860. Presented in an antique box with brass fittings, two clasps, monogrammed "CA" with modern sheathing and accessories: bullet mold, ramrod, mallet, powder flask, screwdriver, oiler, primer dispenser.
