Counet - Bayet centerfire revolver, six-shot, 9 mm caliber. Fluted barrel, stamped "PH.COUNET". Closed, cracked frame, stamped "BAYET Fres Breveté". Folding trigger. Squared and carved stock plates. Cap with push-button release. B.E. Circa 1890. In a later case with accessories. Philippe Counet, active from 1865 to 1905. He holds the patent for the "breakaway" opening on this revolver (source Littlegun).
