Pair of converted officer's flintlock percussion pistols wit - Lot 223
Pair of converted officer's flintlock percussion pistols with round, ribbon barrels with gold remnants, stamped with "N" thunderbolts. Lock plates with remains of the "Druon Nancy" signature and round-bodied hammers. Chased iron fittings. Walnut crossbars, partly checkered, with silver star stud decoration. Later wooden sticks with brass tips. Length: 27 cm. A.B.E. (Patinated). Circa 1820-1830. Presented in a later black chagrin-covered box, iron-marked "TL" under a county crown, with accessories: ramrod, mallet, powder flask, chimney remover, primer dispenser, powder flask, spring remover, screwdriver. DRUON or DUON in Nancy, active from 1830 in Nancy. All lots are sold as is, with no claims possible.
