Our painting is listed in the Federico Zeri photo library, under n°17036, with a note from Federico Zeri on the photo: "Arcangelo di Jacopo del Sellaio ? ". The painting was extensively restored between the black & white photo listed on the Fototeca Zeri and the Sotheby's sale (2025), and more precisely between 1961 (date of the Versailles sale) and 1997 (date of purchase by the current owner).
