Penknife, mother-of-pearl handles, steel blade. -Steel scissors. Small penknife, mother-of-pearl handle, steel blade. -Three manicure utensils. Second storage unit, -Toothbrush, vermeil handle. -Moustache brush, gilt handle. -Suit brush, vermeil handle. -Comb (reported). -Leather for sharpening. -Fine comb. -Gilt tongue scraper. Third set, -Two boot pullers. -Corkscrew. -Lace puller. On either side, Two round glass boxes, vermeil stoppers, chased with leaves. Two diamond-cut glass flasks with engraved vermeil stoppers. Two square glass inkwells, the vermeil stoppers chased with leaves and engraved with water leaves. A removable mirror in the lid. Set in a burrwood case with copper edges and corners. Closes with a key (part of the clasp is missing). French work, second cock hallmark 1809/1819 for Paris, by the workshop of Pierre-Noël Blaquière. Goldsmith whose specialty was set trimmings for necessaries, stoves, writing cases, etc. Residing at 174 rue Saint Honoré, Hôtel d'Aligre. Insculpation: 1803/1804. Accidents, missing utensils.
